Michelin Road 6 GT 120/70 ZR17 M/C 58W TL Front Tyre

Michelin Road 6 GT 120/70 ZR17 M/C 58W TL is a Front Motorcycle Tyre that offers a combination of radial construction and tubeless system for motorcycles that require this size and rating. The 120/70 ZR17 specification indicates that this is a 120 mm nominal width, 70-Series profile, 17-Inch rim diameter and radial construction, whilst the load index 58 indicates a maximum load of 236 kg and the W-speed rating indicates up to 270 km/h under the applicable rating conditions. Specifically developed for GT Motorcycles, the Michelin Road 6 GT employs Michelin's Reinforced Radial-X EVO technology to improve stability, whilst Michelin 2CT+ technology is used on the front to increase rigidity at lean to improve stability during cornering, hard acceleration and braking. A 100% Silica Technology tread compound and Water Evergrip tread design is specified by Michelin for wet-road performance. Michelin's own testing indicated an improvement in wet grip compared with the previous Road 5 generation and longer tread life in its comparative testing; actual results may vary depending on the motorcycle, rider, road and riding conditions. As a Front Sport Touring tyre, this size is appropriate for riders covering everyday road journeys, longer distance touring and varied road conditions where predictable handling, braking stability and wet-road confidence are important. Michelin lists the 120/70 ZR17 58(W) specification for the Road 6 GT and provides vehicle specific fitment information for motorcycles including the Kawasaki Z1000 SX and ZZR 1400. The GT range have also been tested in this front dimension on motorcycles such as the BMW R1200RT and BMW R1250RT. Compatibility is vehicle specific, and so riders should ensure that the complete front and rear specification matches the motorcycle manufacturer's approved dimensions, load rating and speed rating prior to purchase.
