Metzeler Roadtec 02120/70 ZR17 58W M/C TL Front Tyre

The Metzeler Roadtec 02 120/70 ZR17 58W M/C TL is a premium front motorcycle tyre made especially for riders seeking a responsive combination of sporty handling and wet-road confidence and everyday road usability. Listed under the Super Sport category, this tubeless radial front tyre uses a 120/70 ZR17 size with a 58 load index and W speed rating, making it suitable for motorcycles that have been specified by the manufacturer to use this exact fitment. Metzeler has officially positioned the Roadtec 02 as a Sport Touring tyre with an adaptive design that can deliver a sport-oriented behaviour as the rider intensifies the riding activity. The 120 mm width, 70-profile and 17-inch radial format are important details for a rider checking the front-wheel compatibility. The M/C marking is used to denote motorcycle applications and TL stands for tubeless. A 58 load index means a maximum load of 236 kg for the tyre and a W speed symbol means speeds up to 270 km/h under the applicable rating conditions. The rider must always confirm that the motorcycle manufacturer's approved tyre size, load and speed ratings are matched with a suitable fitment. A notable aspect about the Roadtec 02 is the use of Metzeler's Adaptive Tread Design. The tread is designed to change its behaviour depending on the riding style: during smoother rides, the grooves will be useful to support water evacuation, tread mobility and warm-up, but with more aggressive riding will increase the tread-pattern stability and give the tyre a more sport-oriented character. The front tyre has used a full-silica compound while the overall Roadtec 02 design has used central longitudinal grooves for water evacuation and lateral grooves for confidence while leaning. This tyre is relevant for modern sport, super-sport and sport-touring motorcycles seeking a 120/70 ZR17 front fitment. Verified fitment references for this size includes motorcycles from manufacturers such as BMW, Ducati, Aprilia, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and Triumph, but each of these depend upon the specific motorcycle model, year and manufacturer-approved specification. Always verify the bike's fitment before ordering. For riders in India that wish to buy Metzeler Roadtec 02 120/70 ZR17 58W online, we enable an easier buying process through our fitment network.
