Pirelli Scorpion MX Soft90/100-16 M/C 51M NHS TT Rear Tyre

The Pirelli Scorpion MX Soft 90/100-16 M/C 51M NHS TT is a rear motocross tyre designed with the serious rider in mind who requires outstanding grip on all manner of soft, loose and particularly challenging terrain. Formulated for especially difficult conditions such as mud, sand and even clay, the specialised rear tyre feature a tread layout that helps to maintain directional drive when the rear wheel is in deep or particularly unmanageable ground. With a 90/100-16 wheel size, 51M load & speed rating, NHS construction and TT tube-type specification, the Pirelli Scorpion MX Soft is a speciality rear tyre for matching off-road or motocross motorcycles, but not for regular or everyday road use. Pirelli specify this 90/100-16 as a rear Scorpion MX Soft fitment. Positively profiled tall, thick, turbine-shaped knobs which are generously spaced for outstanding mud and dirt clearance, yet provide effective grip, while the reinforced compound offers resistance to impact, abrasion and tearing of the knobs. The large side knobs offer additional grip when leaning into corners on particularly difficult terrain. All of these features can be seen and specified on the Pirelli Scorpion MX Soft rear tyre, which is ideal for motocross tracks, soft ground conditions, sand, and competitive off-road motorcycle racing. As a rear wheel specification, the Pirelli Scorpion MX Soft 90/100-16 M/C 51M NHS TT is recommended only for motorcycles where the manufacturer specifies a rear wheel size of 90/100-16 and a tube-type, NHS specification for the application. Mostly likely to be found on mini motocross and junior off-road motorcycles, and while a general guide can be found below, a fitment check should always be made against the manufacturer's recommended rear wheel size for any given motorcycle model, its wheel type, and the relevant NHS specification.
