Metzeler Tourance150/70 R17 69H M/C TL Rear Tyre

The Metzeler Tourance 150/70 R17 69H M/C TL is a tubeless radial rear motorcycle tyre for dual-purpose and Enduro Street motorcycles which spend the majority of their mileage on the road but retain some off-road capabilities, with light gravel and dirt surfaces. The 150/70 R17 size, 69H load-speed rating and balanced tread pattern offer relevant performance for riders seeking a combination of road stability, grip, durability and controlled traction for touring and mixed-surface riding. Metzeler classifies Tourance within its Trail range and describes it as a dual-purpose tyre for modern, street-oriented Enduro motorcycles. As a Dual Sport rear, it is designed for riders who combine everyday road and highway riding, touring and the occasional gravel or light off-road riding. The large central blocks provide a broad contact area for road grip and high-speed stability, with wide lateral blocks for grip and stability when leaned in. The variable width grooves help to channel water away from the contact patch and provide traction when the weather conditions change. The construction is relevant to riders who want stable handling over long distances. Metzeler specifies a 0°-belted structure on radial rear sizes, in combination with a lightweight carcass to distribute forces across the road and optimise the contact patch. The steel-cord arrangement uses a differentiated spacing to balance the elasticity, damping and stiffness over different parts of the tyre. It combines silica and carbon black in the compound, with Metzeler highlighting mileage, durability and grip in both wet and dry conditions. The 150/70 R17 specification identifies the nominal width and aspect ratio with a 17-inch radial construction, and M/C identifying the motorcycle application. The 69H identifies the specified load and speed rating, and TL identifying a tubeless construction. The exact specification for the tyre always has to match the motorcycle manufacturer's approved fitment, and the dimensions, load and speed requirements for the bike. To verify OE, Metzeler's technical documentation lists exactly this Tourance 150/70 R17 M/C 69H TL spec for the BMW G 310 GS. Other motorcycles may take the same size but have to be verified individually by the rider, before ordering in the correct model. The model number is relevant to the motorcycle, year and approved tyre specification and wheel requirements for the bike.
