Metzeler Sportec M9 RR120/70 ZR17 58W M/C TL Front Tyre

The Metzeler Sportec M9 RR 120/70 ZR17 58W M/C TL is a front motorcycle tyre offering responsive handling, strong cornering grip, a fast warm up and controlled wet-road performance. Its 120/70 ZR17 specification is suited for compatible high-performance motorcycles using this approved front-tyre size and the tubeless construction and (58W) rating gives a clear parameter for riders to check fitment and load/speed suitability. Designed for the Super Sport category, this Metzeler motorcycle tyre uses an innovative structural design to offer a quick and predictable response to steering inputs without compromising overall carcass stiffness. Its full-silica compound technology offers a good warm-up and performance at lower temperatures making it relevant for riders seeking responsive handling for everyday road riding as well as spirited cornering. The tread design has been developed around both dry handling and wet-road control. A narrow central slick section works with the longitudinal grooves to channel away standing water, while the mid-lean grooves layout helps to aid water drainage during cornering. The slick shoulder areas provide a continuous compound footprint at greater lean angles. The Cap&Base dual-compound arrangement features a softer shoulder compound for cornering grip and a harder supporting compound to provide consistency and balance. For a rider to compare a Metzeler Sportec M9 RR 120/70 ZR17 front tyre, the key specifications are simple: 120 mm nominal width, 70-profile construction, 17-inch rim diameter, ZR speed-category construction, M/C motorcycle application, (58W) load/speed marking and TL tubeless construction.
