Metzeler Racetec TD Slick120/70 R17 NHS TL Front Tyre

The Metzeler Racetec TD Slick 120/70 R17 NHS TL is a front racing slick tyre developed for closed-circuit track days, club racing and riders needing a dedicated competition tyre as opposed to a road-legal motorcycle tyre. This 120/70 R17 NHS TL front slick uses radial construction and a tubeless (TL) format for a 17-inch wheel. NHS (Not for Highway Service) means this is not a road tyre and shouldn't be considered as such. As a Racing Slicks, this Metzeler front racing slick tyre is applicable to performance focussed riders on motorcycles configured for track riding. The 120/70 R17 size is in common with a wide range of modern sport motorcycles, but the actual compatible motorcycle range is dependant upon the manufacturer's tyre size, wheel specification and track setup. Riders should confirm against their motorcycle owner's manual or manufacturer's fitment information prior to ordering. Metzeler advise a recommended 3.50-inch rim width for this front size. The Racetec TD Slick is developed for track-day use, with Metzeler describing it as a plug-and-play racing slick having quick warm-up characteristics and consistent performance through multiple sessions. Metzeler technical information details the 120/70 R17 NHS TL front size and track pressure advice. Slick tyres are highly dependant on operating temperature, pressure, suspension setup and circuit conditions, so riders should rely on the latest manufacturer's advice and their track technician's setup guidance in place of road-tyre pressures.
