Metzeler ME 888 Marathon Ultra White Wall180/65 B16 81H M/C TL Rear Tyre

The Metzeler ME 888 Marathon Ultra White Wall 180/65 B16 81H M/C TL is a rear tyre offering long-distance cruising performance, reliable wet-road grip and classic white-wall style. Tailor-made for cruiser and touring motorcycles, the 180/65 B16 rear fitment boasts a reinforced construction, tubeless design, 81 load index and H speed rating. Metzeler classifies this specific size as a rear cruising fitment, with a load capacity of up to 462 kg and a maximum speed rating of 210 km/h within these specified conditions. The ME 888 Marathon Ultra White Wall is characterised by a broad flat profile, which helps to spread the footprint forces and reduce fatigue and irregularity wear. Cross-hatch bridges between the transverse grooves create a more substantial tread block, aiding stability and promoting more uniform wear for the life of the tyre. Abrasion-resistant polymers are specifically engineered to deliver high mileage, making this Metzeler motorcycle tyre ideal for those looking to cover long distances on the highway and on extended touring adventures. For the rider looking to enjoy wet-weather riding, the pattern promotes the evacuation of water as well as the silica-rich compound to improve grip on wet roads. Longitudinal and crossing grooves aid the removal of water from the tyre contact patch and promote more even wear. This ME 888 rear cruiser tyre is engineered for confident road performance across every-day, highway and long distance motorcycle riding. The 180/65 B16 81H size is common for large cruiser and touring motorcycles and fits with select Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian and other models. Fitment can always be confirmed against a motorcycle's manufacturer-recommended tyre size, load rating, speed rating and wheel requirements before buying.
