Metzeler Karoo 4 130/80 R17 65Q M/C M+S TL Rear Tyre

The Metzeler Karoo 4 130/80 R17 65Q M/C M+S TL is a rear tubeless radial tyre for adventure, enduro and dual-sport motorcycles that frequently travels on mixed surfaces, including paved roads and demanding off-road terrain. Available in the 130/80 R17 size with a load index of 65 and speed marking of Q, this rear tyre from Metzeler has been developed to deliver confidence-inspiring grip, stability and control across a variety of surfaces. Metzeler's on/off-road, adventure and Maxi Enduro tyre, suitable for the demands of both off-road and on-road riding conditions. The aggressive scoop-shaped tread blocks are ideal for generating bite on unpaved surfaces such as gravel, dirt and mud, and encourage effective self-cleaning as conditions change and the terrain gets more challenging. The tread pattern also aids road holding on harder surfaces. For on-road riding, the stiffer carcass and multi-radius profile provide improved handling response and feedback, including when the motorcycle is carrying extra load. The radial rear construction features a dual-compound design, with a harder centre compound for greater resistance to abrasion and tearing and a softer silica-based base compound to enhance road holding performance and temperature stability. This Metzeler Karoo 4 rear tyre is suitable for compatible adventure and dual-sport motorcycles with the 130/80 R17 rear fitment. Fitment applications include motorcycles such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, Suzuki V-Strom SX, Honda NX500 and CFMOTO 450MT; always confirm the exact model year, wheels and manufacturer-recommended size before ordering.
