The Honda Gold Wing is a flagship luxury touring motorcycle designed for long-distance highway travel and cross-country touring. The current Gold Wing uses an 1833 cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, a double-wishbone front suspension, shaft drive, and dedicated touring tyre sizes of 130/70-18 at the front and 200/55-16 at the rear. Its large chassis, touring equipment, luggage capacity, and passenger-focused design make tyre selection particularly important for straight-line stability, braking confidence, ride comfort, wet-weather grip, and durability.
